bild & abbild — image and its reproduction

the diploma was made at the university of applied sciences augsburg, department of design, with the very kind help of prof. hans heitmann and margareta krämer.

in form of a hand-made book it resembles a critical view on photography as a simulation of the surface of reality. inspiration comes from writings of the pioneers of new-media-philosophy walter benjamin and roland barthes.
